“A leading force for change, both for theatre and teenagers”

The Stage

I create plays and projects that celebrate happiness, human connection and collaborative decision-making.

I bring young people and adults together to listen, learn and make change.

I share my practice through consultancy and training.

My current projects include:

In Isolation

An immersive exploration of school isolation booths and happiness, in partnership with Young Vic Taking Part and King’s Culture from King’s College London.

Brainstorm

An extraordinary theatrical exploration of the teenage brain, originally produced at the National Theatre and on the BBC, and a blueprint performed by groups of young people across the world.

The Butterfly Tap

A new play about teenage joy and why we need to notice it more, as part of Wonder Fools’ Positive Stories for Negative Times Project.

Youth Theatre Together

Building a national development organisation to support youth theatres in England and beyond.

My past work includes:

The Coronavirus Time Capsule

A ground-breaking digital record of lockdown, created during the pandemic by more than 3,500 teenagers in 17 different countries.

When This is Over

A play about time, chaos and hope, made with young people and fifty groups across the UK. Winner of The Stage Community Project of the Year.
